2011 Governor's Hometown Award Winner

The Mascoutah Little Indians Organization was selected as the winner of the 2011 Illinois Governor's Hometown Award at the Governor's Mansion in Springfield, Illinois for making a difference in Illinois by creating a positive environment in which businesses and families want to live and work. The Organization was selected as first place and was awarded the Governor’s Cup. Thank you to all volunteers, participants, parents, and members of the community who have supported the Mascoutah Little Indians and contributed to its success!
Little Indians "Field of Dreams"

Mascoutah, IL. The City of Mascoutah and the Mascoutah Little Indians Youth Football Program have teamed up to build a football field as part of an Annex to Scheve Park. The field will be built on the west side of North 6th Street, between the Berger-Keil House and the community center on a 10 acre section of current farm field. The project will include a game field, concessions stand and restrooms, bleacher seating, an announcing stand, and a parking lot large enough to support overflow parking from Scheve Park during its annual activities.
